is that a ghost?...

Everyone should go vote at Tiff’s icon contest for the best icon, my icon is in there somewhere but I sort of suck at making icons so I doubt I will win. Moving along, my friends and I went ghost hunting last night at The Gap in Watson Bay. That place is known for suicide. We’re not sure if we saw a ghost or not but there was some pretty freaking things that happened.

To go to The Gap you need to drive into all these tiny tiny tinyyy alley ways, then walk around 100 metres into the bush. It was absolutely PITCH BLACK. There were spiders everywhere, thank god I wore a hoodie otherwise I’d have bugs crawling around in my hair. When we reached a clearing of some sort everyone screamed, there was a couple standing at the fencing of the cliff - you don’t expect to see people just standing there next to a cliff in the middle of the night inside a haunted national park. Also, the area they were standing in was where alot of ghost sightings have be seen. It was around 2AM by then and I guess we were some what spooked, the guy asked if we got scared and stuff. Someone in our group asked as a joke if they were real and he said “we hope so”. Anyways, we thought nothing of it and kept moving.

The pathways that weren’t concreted were so narrow and had bugs everywhere - overgrown plants, trees and bushes. About 30 minutes later we reached a fork like path, you know the ones that split in two directions; left or right? Yeh well left was really narrow, scary and dark, right was wide, clear and not scary. We choose the scary one about 2 metres in, my friend’s phone went off. Oh em gee, I screamed my head off. It’s so quiet and then sudden you hear the phone’s ringtone. Pretty freaky if you ask me and especially when you’re expecting a ghost to pop out. But what was more freaky was that when he checked his phone, he had missed calls from his own number…… thirteen minutes, apart. It’s actually NOT possible to call the number of the number you are using to call, if that makes sense. Like, you just can’t call yourself, it’s impossible. The first missed call was at 2:14AM, that was around the time we were talking to the couple standing where ghosts would appear. We would’ve heard the phone ring since it’s so quiet but it never did.

We ran out of that particular pathway and decided to walk the other one instead. Walked around a bit more then started to head back. I swear we were going to get lost, we took a shortcut through the bushes and I think I have back problems now due to the fact that we had to bend down to walk through the path so we won’t get hit by tree branches and spiders. We only had one flash light, pretty small as well so if it died or something we would’ve gotten lost 100%, it was so dark there. After the phone incident we just headed back home.

Though, I’m not sure whether the phone incident was caused by supernatural things. I don’t believe in ghosts or the supernatural that’s why I’m so skeptical about the whole thing. My boyfriend says that the couple we saw were ghosts that’s why the phone had missed calls around. Until I see a ghost, I won’t believe in them. I still think that couple we saw were human. They didn’t look like ghosts, no floating around in white with demented faces or looking odd or appeared from no where but maybe not all ghosts look demented, maybe some look completely human.
